Datacasting

Datacasting is the transmission of data over a wide area by means of broadcasting.

Most often refers to additional information received from the TV stations with the digital signal. This data transmission is directed at broadcast applications (Ginga) and correlated data as EPG (Electronic Programming Guide), Closed Caption and OAD (Over the Air Download).

The EiTV Datacasting Solution presents two equipment options that are:

EiTV Playout Professional is a high availability equipment target for operation in DTV broadcast generators totally compatible with the Brazilian DTV standard SBTVD or ISDB-TB.
EiTV Remux Datacaster is a ISDB-T multiplexer and re-multiplexer designed for DTV standard used in Brazil and other South American countries.
